Little Ferry, wilder than you'd expect.
Little Ferry sits along the Hackensack River with Mehrhof Pond and Losen Slote Creek Park giving the borough an unexpectedly wild, marshy character. The boardwalks can suit family sessions, while private homes may offer a setting for intimate wedding ceremonies.

Where could you plan photos in Little Ferry?

When is the light best in Little Ferry?
The marsh grasses at Losen Slote can turn copper in late October. In summer, compare morning availability because the open meadow has little midday shade.

Frequently asked — Little Ferry
Can we shoot at Losen Slote Creek Park?
Yes — the boardwalk and meadow are a beautiful, less-shot location for engagement and family sessions. We recommend an early morning slot before the sun gets harsh.
Do you cover small Little Ferry weddings?
Yes — backyard and intimate ceremonies can be covered with an unobtrusive approach. Plan portraits around the property's available river light and confirm any guest limits with the host.
