A quinceañera is part ceremony, part family reunion and part party, and the photos have to hold all three. We photograph quinceañeras across Bergen, Passaic, Hudson and Essex counties and throughout New York City, including Queens, in English and Spanish.
What we photograph
Getting ready and the dress; the Mass or blessing; the court of honor (damas and chambelanes); portraits with family and padrinos; the grand entrance, the vals and the father-daughter dance; traditions such as the changing of the shoes and the last doll when the family keeps them; cake, toasts and the dance floor. Every family celebrates differently, so we build the shot list around the traditions you're keeping.
How planning works
We start with a short call, build a timeline around church and venue times with travel between them, prepare a list of family groups and padrinos for portraits, and choose a portrait spot near the venue.
In English or Spanish
We plan with families and direct family photos in English or Spanish, whichever is easier for everyone in the room.

How many hours of photography do we need for a quinceañera?
Most families choose coverage from getting ready through the vals and the main traditions, usually six to eight hours when a church Mass is included. Party-only coverage can be shorter.
Do you photograph the church Mass and the party?
Yes. We cover the Mass or blessing and the reception, and we plan travel time between them into the timeline.
